Luke’s Dinosaur Cake---ROARRRRR! I borrowed a dinosaur cake pan from a friend and Scott helped me decorate it. Luke ate a ton of frosting in the process of creating this cake :)
One thing we overlooked, is that we used up our lighter for fireworks on the 4th, and we didn’t have any matches. So the guys tried a few crazy things to get the candles lit. They ended up using a toothpick in the oven to light them.
Luke really liked us singing to him and blowing out the candles.
When he was eating his cake, he ate the frosting first and left the cake part on the plate.
He loved opening his presents too, we gave him the best thing last—a Buzz Lightyear. He’s been playing with it everyday since and requests that he accompany him to bed also. He also got a car play mat, a watering can (he likes helping water the plants and ours was too heavy for him), Pig from toy story.
I can’t believe I have a 3 yr old already! We love him to pieces though!
PS we were asking him how old he was for a week to get him to say “I’m 3” or “3!” but he refused to say it…until the day after. goober.
