For our date, we were able to leave Luke at home with Scott's brother, Derek. Scott and I left to go to Olive Garden. Since it was a Wednesday it wasn't that busy at all. We really like Olive Garden and we still had a gift card so it was FREE! We even got dessert ;) It was so nice to just sit there and enjoy my food without worrying about how much Luke wasn't eating (the kid is seriously picky about eating these days).
We headed off to the movie theater after that and saw Inception--which everyone was saying was soooo gooood. We rarely get to see a movie in the theater anymore. We actually got there really early (7:15) because the time had changed from 7:30 to 8:00 or my info was wrong from the website I'd looked at. We played the dot game while we waited for the previews to start. The theater wasn't that full either (love weekday night dates!). THe movie was great--definitely worth spending $17 on.
Overall, simple, but perfect. I love just spending time with my hubby, and I'm looking forward to the adventures we have coming in the next few years.

Sounds like a fun date! I'm especially impressed that Derek babysat.
