Workin Workin Workin

I work really hard on Saturdays.

Last Saturday, I planted my garden, the rest of my flowers, and swept off the porch. Also, I cleaned our bedroom, and our bathroom, did a ton of laundry, cleaned out and organized our closet (that in itself took over an hour), and also cleaned up the laundry room.

Today, Scott & I cleaned out and organized the garage--looks great and is more roomy.
Then, after putting Lukiebaby to bed, I washed all the pots and pans (ugh), loaded up the dishwasher, scrubbed down the counters & the sink, the stove and even the microwave (i can't even tell you how long it's been since I cleaned the microwave last :P)
I continued on to sweep and mop up all the downstairs tile areas (kitchen, dining room, entryway, back entryway)
Oi. I worked and worked for over 2 1/2 hours. Now I am pooped. But at least my kitchen is clean.

Next Saturday, organize the desk, clean out Luke's room & closet (he's finally outgrown a bunch of clothes and it's time to put away warm weather clothes), clean the upstairs bathroom and start organizing the rest of the closets, etc. I can hardly wait.


Oh and also today, I got slammin deals on ground beef and boneless, skinless chicken breast for $1.88/lb at Albertson's--I got 10 lbs worth of each. I stack separate them out into ziplock freezer bags in portions of how much I use for dinners, and stack them in the freezer:
