Kill a Tree or Choke a Fish?
A clever way of asking "Paper or Plastic?"
Well how about neither...
Have you ever wanted to switch to reusable shopping bags? I've been tempted with the idea a few times, but after finding these beauties I just might go through with it this time!
the BAGGU bags are awesome:
A reusable shopping bag. Carry in your hand or over the shoulder. Holds the contents of 2-3 plastic grocery bags. 14" wide / 23" high / 5" deep. Folds into a flat 5" by 5" pouch. Holds 25 lbs. 100% ripstop nylon. Machine washable.
$8.00 each / 3, 4 or 5 bags $7.50 each / 6 or more bags $6.50 each
I've done my research on reusable shopping bags and these are great prices! AND, the come in any color you could possibly want!
Where do you find all of this cute stuff!!? I love these...the only problem is, I put off shopping until I absolutely need groceries which means I would need lots of these bags. :)
ReplyDeleteyeah i'm with linds. i've wanted to do it too, but i think i would look ridiculous carrying like 5+ of these bags into the store. well, i dunno. it wouldn't be that bad, but i imagine they get really heavy... but i guess if i would be a smarter shopper and not wait until i'm completely out of everything before i go shopping it'd be fine!
ReplyDeleteOkay, let me just say that I am a proud user of reusable cloth bags. Of course... mine aren't very cute and I will be buying more (of the cute variety) - they hold LOADS more groceries and they don't break like the plastic bags. In fact - they hold so much more and are so much easier to carry that if I forget mine.... I just buy more. They are .99 a piece at our local grocery store. My hubby just put the kabosh on buying more though... he found my stash of 30+ (oops? I truly didn't realize we had THAT many...)... Now I keep them in the car. Thanks for the great fashion find!
ReplyDeleteAlso - additional note - I have the BEST cake recipe - when I remember, I'm going to post it as a comment on the kake blog or email it. ta ta!
at the bike shop we are giving away reusable bags. love the green movement.
