The Joys of Home Ownership

I have to say...

Having a house is WAY better than an Apartment!
BeCaUse...

My laundry room is 3 feet from my bedroom not 3o yards across a parking lot...AND it's not coin-operated.

I have a dishwasher.
I have a garage. (which will be doubly a-w-e-s-o-m-e come winter!)

Our outdoor trashcans are right outside & not across a parking lot either and it never gets too overflowing because there are only 2 of us and we don't have that much trash.

We have an entire trash bin for recycling! Go Green.

I can paint, put as many holes in the wall as I want to, heck I could even knock down a wall if I want!

We have 2 1/2 bathrooms, not just one. And our bathroom has 2 sinks and plenty of counter space! AND a jet tub...very nice.

We have a fireplace...I so want to roast marshmallows in it!

We have a Yard!

There isn't anyone above or below us or next to us divided only by ceilings and walls!

And one more thing...being in Lehi, it's much flatter, but you still get the good views of the mountains--what this means for us is that our runs and bike rides are SO much more fun because there are no icky unavoidable hills!!

It's just simply awesome and we are so blessed to have such a great home in a really great neighborhood! We are also excited about our ward at church. There are lots of younger families like ours and lots of new people moving in and we've already been welcomed in so nicely! We're very excited to be spending the next few years of our life here and excited for the adventures and friendships and joys this home will bring us.
